omelette

i was making breakfast, thinking about what to post today. i was cutting the onions and i thought i could post onions for today. but after i cooked my eggs, i just realized (i'm a little slow these days, pardon me) i made an 'omelette'. you can't see the onions because they're inside the fold of the omelette and soaked anyway in cheese. (it was a lot fluffier after i took it out of the pan, but setting up the tripod proved a tad bit long!)

here's a rundown on omelette from wikipedia, your online encyclopedia:
In cuisine, an omelette or omelet is a dish made from beaten eggs quickly cooked with butter or oil in a frying pan, sometimes folded around a filling such as cheese, vegetables, meat (often ham), or some combination of the above. To obtain a fluffy texture, whole eggs or sometimes only egg whites are beaten with a small amount of milk or cream, or even water, the idea being to have "bubbles" of water vapour trapped within the rapidly cooked egg. Some home cooks add baking powder to produce a fluffier omelette; however, this ingredient is sometimes viewed unfavourably by traditionalists.

day four of o's in the books. maybe onion tomorrow?

thank you for your kind visits and comments; they are genuinely appreciated.
