and now for something completely different. no, it's not. it's still a perfume bottle, this one is "fame" by lady gaga. i liked that the cap looks like a claw when it's on the bottle and like an alien spaceship when off.

thank you, ladies. i have strong reaction to scents so i take precaution and wear a mask when i handle these bottles. when a scent is really strong and bothers me, i take an anti-histamine. i had thought in the beginning that it would have been nice if i could give a description of the smell, but i knew i can't. the self-imposed challenge anyway was to photograph the bottles.
these bottles aren't mine, they are "on loan" to me just for my project. so far, i am good until monday next week. after that, if i can't find anymore i will switch to a different kind of bottles.
I am having fun reading the comments by the people who obvously DON'T read the comments! This is a really cool shot with the cap reflected in the bottle. Was the perfume itself really that dark? that seems a bit strange to me.
Do you watermark all of your images? This one is not so subtle, I've seen some hat are very subtle. And others I don't see at all. Do you do this in PS? I can add one in LR, but I'm not so sure I can make it so subtle.
@summerfield I have no expectations, therefore, it is difficult to be disappointed. Please, do not internalize that as a gauntlet to elevate your photos to greater levels of disappointing. And, if this series is any indication of your usual dose of disappointment, I'm overdue for some. I'll suffer along with your other followers.
