whew! i was telling my good friend louise @Weezilou this morning that i've turned my apartment - living room, bedroom, backroom and i had designs on turning partner's apartment upside down, too! - looking for the prop i wanted to use for that idea itching in my head when i woke up this morning. all for this post. good thing i didn't follow through on partner's apartment or i'd be in trouble because said prop was hanging on the wall of my hallway all along! ooopsie. (i should really endeavour to put all my props together; i probably would need a three-bedroom unit then!) all i needed do was turn on the hallway lights.
i like that guy john florencio's piano playing so i'm including here the link for his rendition of the phantom of the opera's "music of the night" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oDauYtSaEM
i have rashes on my face and neck and the doc thinks it's reaction to the the anti-biotics which is on its last two days, for heaven's sakes! so no selfie there for a while!
thank you for your kind visits and comments; they are so much appreciated, kind folks!
Well, why didn't you Say so! Masks are *always* hanging on the wall! I concede that you DID indeed NEED this prop...red rose and all.... Again, quite stunning and dramatic! Thanks to you and your circle of talented peeps, the variety of fascinating, creative and dramatic photos has been elevated to artistic creations that make this site a step above the others. Bravo Bravo!!!
@summerfield ...and...sorry...it's not going to get any better! Ken, youngster that he is, shakes his head & "laughs" as my ailments morph from year to year. As he followed, 2 years behind, with reading glasses...and shoulder pain...and now, aching knees when he gets up...he's stopped laughing! My growing concern is, "Who's going to carry my suitcases"?!
Good thing you found the mask. You may need it if your rash doesn't go away for that sexy! ( auto correct made your "selfie" "sexy"! Maybe it knows something I don't!) I had a reaction to an antibiotic last fall and took copious amounts of Benadryl to get rid of it. You should probably do the same thing. This is an awesome picture by the way and I really like it.
The boy and I love this musical! :) We had a chance to see it performed on stage in Chicago last winter. Simply magical. You've done a great job capturing it in this photo. Sorry you've a systemic allergy to the antibiotic. I always hate when those show up near the end of a script of meds. Hope you feel better quickly.
wonderfully phantom of the opera... so sorry about the rash... yup - inevitably it shows up when you're more than half way thru the anti-Bs... is it horribly itchy? i really hope you feel better soon...
i found out i was allergic to antibiotics when i was down south on a cruise (this was over 20 years ago... it itched like no tomorrow.... and the heat did NOT help... the sad part is that i hadn't wanted to take antibiotics, but finally gave in, in the hopes of getting over the sinus infection so that i could enjoy the vacation... hopefully it's not as bad for you...
