just because i have nothing to do other than take pictures of paintings in a coffee shop, i have nothing else to offer you but an etsooi selfie for the ethereal challenge by five plus two. all my other shots are, well, shut! on the walls of this coffee shop are large size replicas of the master's famous paintings. i have taken a liking to this photo and thought i'd submit one more posting for the five plus two theme. here's a link to the original.
i have already consumed a fair amount of frozen pistachio custard that was loaded with about a gazillion kilos of pistachios and i am sleepy as heck so this is the "well-thought out" offering i can muster for today.

also for taffy's segment of the ETSOOI challenge. in ribbet converted two photos to black and white, layered them in photoshop elements, brought them back to ribbet to convert back to black and white and apply cross process to at least have a hint of an old colour, applied airbrush to smoothen the edges of the layered face, then i went to the bathroom because i couldn't take the insanity anymore. and speaking of insanity, this also qualifies for my get pushed challenge set by Maj Manczak @majmanczak which is to "shoot an image representing insanity in some way or another." if this is not insanity, then i don't know what is!

@salza - sally, who made the rules that you can't have ice cream at 7:30 a.m.? i say you want ice cream, you eat ice cream. except of course if there's none available at the moment.
@majmanczak - here's my response to your challenge. i think superimposing one's selfie onto a famous painting could be considered insanity. well, at least i am insane enough to do so. :-)
