there were some interesting cloud formations over the lake yesterday morning. the beaches being just a stone's throw away from the hotel where i'm staying, i thought it was a shame that i've been here almost a month and i never had time to go and shoot. i was early running my errands and at the corner where i had to wait for the bus, i hesitated: should i go or not? then i thought, what the heck, it's saturday, errands don't make me happy unless i get them done. "stop and smell the roses" came to mind.
the sun shone gloriously on the water. there were a few dog walkers. i didn't even have to walk near the water, my vantage point was enough to capture this, unfortunately the dog ran out of frame, the little bugger.
two days and i fly west to san francisco to meet up with my bff and we fly to manila on wednesday.
i signed the lease to my new apartment yesterday afternoon but i don't move in until march 1st, so hotel it will be for three days when i come back. it will be a fresh start and hopefully the contractor did a good job of sanitizing my stuff. otherwise, i'll be doing more purging. thank you for your kind thoughts and positive encouragements; i have always said that 365 is my happy place and my precious friends here are the best!
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
I like the comp here. It's nice to see this made it to your 100 happy days album. Too bad you don't ride a bike, this is a bit of a walk from your new apartment. :-P
Glorious shot with the sun on the water! It's kind of interesting to see the one lone figure walking on the beach! I think it's better without the dog!
Having experienced an afternoon down at the beach as well, I know the pure pleasure of sun-sparkled water! So glad you had this respite before heading home for a visit! Have a wonderful time and safe travels! I hope you'll be able to stay in touch while you're away. I know you'll me missed by many...
Glad to hear that you have signed a lease and that your days of residing in a hotel are nearly over.
