with the wet snow day we had yesterday and through last night, we woke up to a blanket of ice. thankfully, the plus temps we had slowly melted the thick ice though not enough that the trees and grounds were left covered with film like ice. pretty enough in the sunlight that showed belatedly towards the end of the day, sparkling like a scattering of diamonds. there's a flat hedge of evergreens at the corner beside the bus stop with this tiny branch sprouting above as if embracing the sunlight that had been missing for quite a few days.
clear skies are forecasted for tomorrow and hopefully i get to wake up with the moon setting through my bedroom window.
thirteen boxes left and the bookshelves will be done. i'm seeing more of the floor in the living room which isn't good, as i can see it needs cleaning. need to finish unpacking before the end of the month, so i can concentrate on doing my taxes.
i've been viewing your albums, whilst unpacking, but obviously not able to comment on everyone's pics. thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
