this is my good friend Fiore. she's one of the smartest women i have the honour of calling friend. and as all of my good friends are, she also is a beauty. here she's wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with black piping on the cuffs and the collar and boxplate, the buttons hidden behind the boxplate. her slim leather pencil skirt reaches just above the knee, accented by a slim leather belt with two gold buttons. the ensemble is neither loose nor tight hugging, it's just right fitting making her already tall structure even longer and her slim torso slimmer. and look at those power shoes! the ensemble is timeless, yet very modern, and gives her a smart professional look.
and i've always loved her abundant wavy hair!
i like the way i posed her, with her fingers just slightly resting on the table, she's reading a document and the way she tilted her head, her face is hidden by her hair yet still discernible. can you see she's a beauty? i was happy that i got this in two shots, then i wasn't so happy when i downloaded the photos because i forgot to check my settings and i had my ISO at 800 from last night's street shots downtown- that explains the noise.
for the 52-week challenge this week, we are to take a portrait with the focus on clothes.
oh - this is perfect for the fashion challenge... i think you needed the 800iso to deal with the light... any less and you'd be at risk of getting camera shake or minor motion blur... i also find that a little extra iso can add some softness to an image that, for this kind of thing, doesn't hurt at all! :)
A terrific image. It looks like a natural pose so I was surprised to hear you posed her. I was wondering how you could catch her like this without her knowing
@grammyn - normally she's like a whirlwind when working. i had to pull her out of her office so i could take this shot. she's a terribly busy woman. but as you know i can charm anyone. :-P thanks, girlfriend.
