the lawn is pressed with unseen feet
and ghosts return gently at twilight
gently go at dawn;
the sad intangible who grieve and yearn.

i was wracking my brains for two days trying to figure out how to do, in one go, the half and half and the saturday self-portrait, with the theme being 'ghosts'. i had thought i'd do another layering then i remembered that after last week's layering post, news came to me that one of the 'spies' or stalkers thought i was fat. i'm not even going to explain that.
then i thought i'd call the northster to see if she'd like to case the university of toronto with me but it's still raining off and on, mostly on, plus it would've been last minute and i got held up for more than i should've been at my appointment so that plan was scrapped.
then standing in my kitchen, i glanced at the bathroom and it gave me an idea with the slatted french shutters - close half of the shutter, and a long exposure in the hallway. donc le voilà!
week 18 of the 52 portraits of me project.
fitness challenge update: as of this morning, after i entered my steps from yesterday, i was sitting at #7. can i tell you that my body feels like i've been battered (not buttered :-P) and beaten. now i have to do my dancing. poor grandma!
So creative! It works on so many levels!
