how often does one get to see a bride and her groom crossing the street? well, maybe it happens everyday, but not in their wedding clothes.
i was walking to the subway from the market and passed by the St. James Cathedral. its gardens are quite luscious with different coloured peonies. and there was a wedding party. unfortunately i was on the other side of the street so my focus was not the best. also, i got yelled at by a man who thought i was taking a photo of his son. well, the son just kept on getting into frame so there was not much i could do.
then when i reached the corner there was this pair and their friend who were crossing the street. took out my camera immediately and took a couple of shots. i like this one because you can clearly see that the bride was smiling!
A great thing to do. We went to a wedding in Kensington once where the bride and groom walked down the high street to the reception. Why not? Lovely to see the special amidst the ordinary.
