buying time

means to stall or delay in order to gain more time to do something. but really, doing that would only result in wasting time, wouldn't it.

once again, the idea came at the last minute - i'm just a lucky so-and-so, aren't i?

who's read "the beach house"? i'm currently reading the whole series. i'm on book 4 already. mary alice monroe is a very compelling writer. she also wrote "the book club" which has been turned into a movie that's about to be shown this week.
