i am left to finish off all the leftover food in my fridge. i'm not complaining though as they are healthy and delicious food and it would be a mortal sin if they're not eaten and would just get spoiled.
yesterday, i went to a store where they had an olive bar and they had tapenade, ground black olives in olive oil. i have not had that in a long time and they're so good on multigrain toasts.
and i question myself why i'm getting bigger than a tank!
Totally agree. I managed to escape the culinary craze this year "thanks" to the flu, but my mum's fridge is always near to collapsing of leftovers that add to leftovers that add to other leftovers, and this thing that one doesn't finish them before cooking new food drives me crazy! Fav for being on the same page!
Thank you for the Christmas wishes and sorry if I've been moving photos around and distracting everyone. I like the title of your album (as I have just put all my photos in one album reckoning not to renew my pro membership).
The healthy food looks great. I made vegan chick pea and cauliflower curry on Boxing Day (26 December) as I had had enough meat already.
Im loving the look of your leftovers. Im not buying new food until our friends come around for New Year's eve dinner. That means it is cold meat, many potatoes and carrots, too much cream, and mince pies for us for the next couple of days. I really enjoy finding creative ways of eating various leftovers. I've picked up satsumas in the salad from your feast - I think we have a few spinach leaves and certainly some satsumas.
That looks absolutely yummo. Won't put on any pounds either. We don't have any leftovers this year. Arrived back from overseas just in time for Christmas which we celebrated in a restaurant.
