while a storm rages outside, i am safely and comfortably ensconced in my home, watching the snow as it swirls around on my balcony floor. i left the office after i had my lunch because if i didn't i'd never make it home in the chaos of the rush hour. as it was, i left the office at just a bit after two and i arrived almost before four. if traffic was atrocious then, it'd have been worse. plus the buses are having a hard time with the roads, as the lesser important routes won't get plowed until after the storm. our city is stupid like that.
i would've gone out and taken photos but the winds are really bad and the whipping snow was rather unkind to the skin plus i didn't want to subject my camera to such an atrocious weather condition. but i've posted a second photo for today to show you how it looked outside this afternoon. https://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/2019-01-28
I’ve been thinking about you and just knew you were getting the same brutal “polar vortex” so much of my country is experiencing. Glad you stayed inside! This is a sweet photo! Could be in a children’s book, maybe you can write a story about it for your writing class. You could tie it to your life, I’m sure. Smile.
this looks to me like it ought to be the design on the pack for the colouring crayons. What a contrast to the scene from your window. perhaps you really did suck out all the colour to put in your image.
I imagine this took ages to compose, edit and be pleased with??
In UK people do mindfulness colouring in, I think I prefer your mindfulness photogging.
