i had several choices of j's today -- jam, jactitation, juggler, journal, jackass (i have photos of the ex, you see), etc. jelly beans won out because it's colourful, it's nice to look at and nice to pop in the mouth. and so le voilà!
and there goes my waist again. i finally got around to pulling out my summer clothes and shorts. my bestie, when we last went on vacation to the old country in 2016, gave me a pair of shorts that was too big too loose it would practically just fall off to the ground. the next year it fit a little bit, still loose but i held it up with a big safety pin. last year, it fit me perfectly. now i still could pull it up no problem but the darn buttons wouldn't reach and the zipper only closed halfway. i couldn't believe it! i wanted to cry. but then i got hungry and i had to have ice cream for dessert. so what happened to the pants, you ask? i threw them in the box that i'm preparing to send to the old country. i suppose i'll just buy new ones.
Such a colorful photo that has my mouth wateriing. Your story has my eyes crying because I fear I am in your same predicament and have no one to send my old clothes to!
The best J-word you could have chosen. Jelly Bellies are a poorly controlled addiction - and that's really not good news for me. :( Love your photo too! And the jackass comment was awesome!
It’s called quarantine 15!! I think we all are having problems in that area right now. Nice colorful picture. Is there a challenge going on for letters? Or you just do it on your own?
Ah, you already ate my favorite one -- the cappuccino one. I often take Jelly Bellies as gifts for families with children when I visit family in Japan. I like your sparkly red background too
A lovely colourful image and such sparkly bokeh. I find that not all jelly beans are created equally. Some brands are quite unpleasant to eat. Black jelly beans (aniseed) are my favs followed closely by white (vanilla) ones.
you got these captured so well that if you don't look out they will all be gone because we will have helped ourselves! I am having similar problems with my summer clothes this year, and I swear I haven't been eating any more.
I took another look at this photo (once I got past the jelly beans) and noticed all the lovely bokeh in the background too!
