i am reading a novel "the faithful place" by tana french and there's this part where one of the side characters was waiting under a streetlamp and this idea of padraigh penwyn standing under a lamp just kept popping in my head. i just had to execute it. it looks noir, northyish even, mind you, although i couldn't quite get the light.
It seems like it’s been such a long time since I have seen him in any of your photos! This one is executed very well I think the light is great, I think it does look like one of Northy’s photos and I agree with you about the song but mostly because it sounds so old. Altogether well done!
The lighting is better when viewed on the black background. Interesting scene. You know, I have a penguin standing in my backyard. Perhaps some portraits are due.
