makes me feel like i'm flying by summerfield

makes me feel like i'm flying

i'm off work today although i made up my two-hour absence yesterday (i went home before the dreaded rush hour) this morning. i just want to relax; i still feel tired from the sojourn yesterday. i think that when we have to go back to working at the office, the management would have to treat everyone like we were coming off disability, in that there is a gradual transition so that our minds and bodies would gently acclimatize to working again. one would be joking if they would say that they are constantly working when working from home. even so, it would not be as stressful (or maybe it is?) as when you have to commute to and from work. at home we have distractions, even when there is something urgent or rush to be done, you know in your mind that the other things could be set aside to be done at a later moment. i myself don't do anything personal except for cooking my lunch when i have to, or looking at 365 on my personal laptop. but i am constantly monitoring the work laptop or constantly doing digital filing. but i can't do anything substantial, like cleaning up (and that is why despite eight months of being home, those boxes in the second bedroom have not been touched at all). other people would have their pets, their kids, their parents to look after. (hey, wait a minute, what's my excuse then!) still, i got an overwhelming feeling when i started to work at my desk yesterday, and started to feel dizzy. that's just my experience and opinion.

this photo however is rather relaxing to look at, don't you agree? this was taken on monday morning, i think, as the fog was dying down and the sky started to clear.

this is a three-fer:
for the bird's eye view prompt for week 46 of the 52-week challenge.
for the technique challenge of sky
for the six-word challenge

i could probably make it a grand slam if i tag it for the landscape challenge, but i'll sleep on it.
Lovely sky and yes!

Love this image! Fav. I too work from home and really miss the commute to work..the difference being my work takes me to many different areas and my camera is always with me. Now it only gets to sit in the camera bag waiting for me to take it out once a day like a dog for a walk. LOL

FAV What an amazing combination that looks so much like a composite! How fabulous to get it in one shot!

Not having to go to work I can't fully appreciate the stress it must create to do it all from home! The thought of returning after so many months must create a lot of anxiety too~!

This is a wowser of a photo. Amazing! I thought maybe it was a composite, but it seems you actually did get all those wonderful elements of clouds and skyline together in one photo. Bravo! And I can relate to what you said. It was weird when we went back to campus at the beginning of the semester.
