first thing i do in the morning after my ablutions is to eat a boiled egg so that i don't get hunger pangs whilst walking. sometimes it would last me until after one o'clock and sometimes as soon as i get home i stuff my face with food because i would be so hungry.
sometimes i wonder -- i don't like eating chicken but i eat eggs, something that came out of the hen's ass. there's something wrong with that picture, isn't there?
catching up with week 47 of the 52 captures challenge, the challenge is to "capture an image that depicts something that’s part of your daily routine, the ordinary everyday things that make up part of your day."
that poor egg on the forks got quite a lot of cracks as it kept falling off the forks. by the time i had finished, the other side was all cracked up but you wouldn't know it in this photo.
did you know that when boiling eggs, if you put a tablespoon of vinegar in the water, it would be easy to peel off the shell. go on, try it!
Super image. We’ve tried fasting and just get hungry before the day is over! I think an egg’s protein would help you feel full, but it sure doesn’t last all day.
Love how you managed to get the egg on the forks and the cracks don’t show. Never knew that vinegar trick, I’ll have to give it a try. If you want another tag, you could add darkroom-wow for the white on white theme this week. Have a happy and healthy 2022 Vicki.
A super shot, Vikki! I will definitely try the vinegar trick. They say that fresh eggs are more difficult to peel so I always have a dozen in the bottom drawer of the fridge 'aging'.
Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2022!
