sitting on the bus, impatiently willing the traffic light to change so we could go on our merry way, i looked out the bus window and saw this scene. i debated with myself if i should take a photo or not, but i saw the lights change and knew my bus would go off in a moment. no time to fish out the proper camera so i had to use the iphone, took a couple of snaps and promptly forgot about it all until today.
normally, i would see an accident and could discern how it might have happened. these cars were facing northbound. my guess is that the left car was turning left from the west lane while the big van turn right from the east lane but turned wide. i get irritated that drivers who make a turn almost always would drive on the next lane instead of their own lane before merging onto the next lane. but it's their stupidity, so long as they don't hurt anyone else except themselves or their vehicles.
tagging this for the artist challenge, fred herzog being the featured artist. he has a photo captioned 'wreck at georgia/dunlevy' that reminded me of this shot i took a week ago.
I hope no one was hurt. It’s very hard to see what happened. It looks like the smaller van is already being removed, otherwise how did it’s front end get so much damage.
