been a while since i did this egg on forks thingie. i admit i struggled to get that egg to stay put. it was a miracle at all that it didn't break as it fell quite a couple of times. if it did, i'd have to look for another subject because it's the last egg in the fridge. and if it broke, i won't have my usual egg for breakfast tomorrow. of course, i didn't want the usual pov so i was moving the tripod quite a lot and it banged on the table a few times and the egg tittered and was on the verge of falling off its perch. and then the background was giving me grief as i was too poofed and lazy to get the ring light out so i couldn't get a total white background. i protest a lot, don't i?
aside from this week's still life assignment, this is also for week 7 of the 52 captures challenge which is "eggs" but as i said i only have one egg left in the fridge.
also, as egg is one of my comfort food, for the current bld challenge.
also for the current black and white challenge of 'cutlery'.
also for the six-word story challenge.
well, i think this covered quite a lot of challenges, didn't it? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
I suddenly remembered the egg shot that I havent done a few minutes ago. I wondered whether to have a go at this classic shot - but do I risk losing one of my precious eggs? I bought some in the market this morning - I need them for shrove Tuesday. Your white on white is fantastic here (what a shame my eggs are brown).
I have seen this subject many times by a variety of people and each photo is different. Congratulations. Hope you went on to cook the egg and eat it. It worked hard for you.
