new toy

i bought this 'privacy pen' as a lark. i heard a story about how a woman found that at the hotel where she stayed with her 'boyfriend' there were two hidden spy cameras using a device like this. and since i am to travel next week, i figured i could put this to a test. if it doesn't work, i would just have to return it and ask for a refund, n'est-ce pas?

anyone has any opinion about this?

Just looked this up to see what it does. Can't imagine anyone wanting to spy on an old girl like me, but it would be a peace of mind giver if you are travelling, I guess. Intriguing!
