my sister and i went down to the beaches and waited for the "super moon". it was still light when we got there and waited about 30 minutes. there was a cold wind and part of the sky over southeast portion of the lake was shrouded in grey clouds while in the east the sky was just clear dark blue. and just when you thought it wasn't coming, there it was! a red sliver at first peeking out of the water beyond then quickly rose up in the sky. here it is then just after it lifted out of the horizon but the lakewater is no longer visible in the dark. it was so beautiful to watch, it felt like you're looking at god and it was just plain awesome.
that was the good part.
now, the bad part is realizing i haven't really learned how to use my camera in night setting and so this is my best effort for today/tonight. i'm sure in 10 years i'd learn how to work this darn thing.
But, your picture is really a beauty! No worries! And yes, how beautiful she was, last night. I tried to take a picture of the full moon also, no, I did take a picture of her. Of the lovely, lovely moon.
