this is the other flower arrangement i got for mother's day - two stems of bird of paradise with foliage. at last there's a reason to retrieve the suppose to be expensive vase out from the display cabinet. where did i choose to place the vase? just by my bedroom's window sill, above the rad (which is thankfully off by this time of the year). as well, the self-portrait's gotten away with in the mirror below (which i didn't know until i looked at the picture).
the bonus? i've been wanting to have the little name imprints on my photographs but i have not the slightest idea how to do it. tonight, i accidentally opened then fiddled with the 'zoombrowser EX' that came with my canon camera, and i discovered by accident how to put the imprint. hah! we'll see if i'm able to do that again tomorrow! i'm sure there are other wonders it could do, but one thing at a time. my old brain can't handle this new technology fast enough!
@jannkc - jann, it's in the software that came with the camera. my niece (who is my tech support hehehe) installed it on my desktop months ago and last night i realized it was there and opened it. at my age, when i discover something new, my hot flash goes on overdrive and my fingers tend to press anything on the laptop! as i said, i wonder if i can do it again with the next photo.
