They say words are cheap..... and actions speak louder than words.
At £10,000,000 the Chilcot enquiry's final report certainly wasn't cheap and told us very little that we didn't already know.
I fear that like the Levison enquiry the findings will be pretty much ignored and swept under the carpet. The politicians will no doubt tell us that lessons will need to be learned..... and they will not actually learn a damn thing.
So contrary to popular opinion......It would seem that words are in fact very expansive....... and inaction speaks far louder than words.
The words"it must not happen again" has a very false ring to it. I don't know how many times I have heard those words, and we still go on making the same mistakes.
