The newest recruit to the ranks of "The Pirates of St. Piran" crew. He is a very nice chap (for a pirate) and is fitting in really well and is a real asset to the crew.
For those who don't know, The Pirates of St. Piran are a non profit making, charity fundraising group working to raise funds for local charities, including Children's Hospice Southwest, The Cornwall Air Ambulance Service and the RNLI.
We are a rocky pirate crew performing rumbustious sea shanties and our own original songs of the sea, all over the Westcountry.
We have so far released 7 albums and all the profits from CD sales, downloads and streaming, along with all the profits from our gigs and our charity collection buckets go to charity. We have so far donate £85,000 to good causes.
There are 25 of us and we jokingly refer to ourselves as a "group therapy, care in the community project" and ,if I'm honest, that isn't a million miles away from the truth. We are all slightly mad but have more fun than you could ever imagine.
