I liked the black and blue reflections on the water. Sets the swans off beautifully I thought. I keep protesting that I'm not a "twitcher"....... but I am becoming increasingly alarmed at the number of bird photos I am taking recently. If anybody sees me buying a nice warm anorak and a thermos flask....... you have my permission to shoot me. :)
We have got the dreaded VAT return to do today.... one of my least favourite things....... Oh deep joy.
Ah but you are not a 'twitcher' so be reassured! There is a lot of difference between birdwatching and being a twitcher!! Believe me I have been in those anoraked groups who stand for hours just to get a tick in their book.....I hasten to add I was there to support my partner who wanted to see an unusual bird but only if it was on our patch, not drive for hundreds of miles on the off chance of a sighting!! It's ok to appreciate our wonderful birdlife and capture them on camera. No need for the waterproofs and the flask just yet!! :-)
Great shot buddy, we have a lot of swans on the river Trent near my home, so this is an instantly recognizable shot. My missus has a flask you can borrow LOL :)
Good luck with the VAT return...
Superb swans.
It looks cold.
A fav.
