I posted a white one of these a few days ago. I still don't know what they are........ I have white ones in the back garden and purple ones in the front garden. I tried to transplant some white ones from the back to the front garden and they came up purple. How odd it that?
Japanese anemones...I think the pink ones are the 'original' and the white are cultivated. Maybe when you transplanted them, they reverted to type? They make a good show tho.....
