I have captured lots of buzzy things since I took up photography as a hobby. Some of them might have been bees but if I'm honest they were probably all wasps or hover flies or some other vaguely bee like creatures.
However, at long last, for the very first time, I feel I can unequivocally say, without fear of contradiction, that this a an actual real live proper bee.
Although having said that, I now have the sudden fear that some smart arse buzzybugologist will inform me that it is actually a Madagascan long haired tiger wasp.
