I've been after one of these for some time but only just found a good one at a reasonable price. I just need to work out where I am going to use it...... given that it is the sort of kit that would turn heads in a war zone....... I fear I would probably be taken out by an armed response unit if I wandered around town with it.
I once had a SWAT team called because I was using a long lens from a clock tower. A sniper was reported to the police. All was well in the end. But they did make me come down. We do live in strange times. I did have permission to be there.
@lynbonn There is always the niggling fear that a police marksman with an itchy trigger finger could shoot first and ask questions later. These are strange times indeed. :)
