Every year The Pirates of St. Piran are asked to pose as models for the St. Austell Society of Artists. We are even allowed to keep our clothes on............ We sit in the middle of a room surrounded by artistic type people. We just sit there and sing them a sea shanty or two while they scratch away with their pens and pencils, pastels and water colours. At the end of the evening they have a whip round and contribute to out charity buckets. They also usually give us some of their artworks to take away with us. We then all head off to the pub for a drink.
It is a fun evening for all concerned.
This is one of the portraits of me created by the lovely Amanda. I think it is a pretty good likeness. :)
