I have spent the past few days renovating this rather splendid cannon getting it ready for it's first outing with The Pirates of St. Piran.
As well as playing rocky sea shanty gigs, we also do educational school visits, as here in Cornwall, piracy is an important part of our local history and is included as a subject on our local schools curriculum. We have good fun and the kids just love it...... especially when we fire the cannons.
