A Curious Hall

The former Falmouth Women's Institute Hall has been recently transformed into an alternative arts space.

The aim is to create somewhere for all sorts of alternative festivals, from fairs to art exhibitions.

They hope to attract an element of the weird and wonderful to their exhibitions, as well as contemporary artists and performance art, including such things as sculptors, steampunk artists, taxidermists, gothic jewellers, tattooists, and Dirtbox Guitars makers, who create instruments out of car hubcaps and cigar box cases.

The world needs more places like this I feel. Good luck to them. I will be a regular visitor and maybe even a contributor at some stage.

It's a lovely old building and one can only applaud its new use... I
do hope you get to exhibit there.

What a great new use of this lovely building. What really makes this for me is that splash of red/orange up in the window.
