We went out for dinner tonite because we were both too tired and too busy to cook. The sky was clear and air was crisp. We tried a restaurant new to us (Mystique - Mexican infused with French, very good!) on Chicago Avenue. I took this, looking east toward one of our iconic buildings -- the Hancock -- which is the tall black one with the spire on top.

I still have two more photos I want to post from the Aeration Station steel wool painting photo shoot, but I couldn't resist taking a break to post some city shots from today.

Love the delicate lighting - and the skyline! I'm originally from the Chicago area, I grew up in Flossmoor. My dad worked in the city of course. One of my favorite towns of all time. Just a beautiful place, miss it.
@skpinny THanks for your kind comments and the follow! You're from Flossmoor -- small world. I graduated from HF many years ago. And I taught at Churchill School in Homewood in 1970.
@taffy Are you kidding? How funny and how great! We moved when I started Jr High - I went to Western Avenue Grade School in Flossmoor. Very small world!!
