Taken this morning during one of the few breaks from downpour. I'm standing on the lower deck shooting out at the lake via the droplet. If you look close (or view larger if you have time), you can see the sky (briefly blue), clouds, and shore.
Note: Title from Freddy Fender song that Jim played for me while I was trying to think of a title that had something to do with the droplet.
@pflaume Thanks for the comment Lisa. I didn't use a tripod for this, but it was one of about 6 shots I took in a row because I knew I was having trouble keeping my hand steady, and the wind had started to pick up. So, luck played a fairly major role. @archaeofrog Thanks Katie -- it was interesting re the blue. When I looked at the image, it was basically different shades of gray. Then, I used levels to start the black in a bit and as I moved it over, the droplet started showing the blue. So then, I lowered the exposure to bring it out more. That erased the sky details, but I thought it was worth it.
Ok, so this is the third photo in a row I have faved. I think island life is agreeing with the photographer in you just fine. I have yet to take a decent water drop shot. I'll keep working on it.

Thank you so much, TSW, Barb (for the favs too -- I'm so grateful!! I hope I can really concentrate on photography a good part of the summer and improve. It's a different type of photography I'm finding than in the city), and Arefin. You are wonderful to continue to be so supportive!

Thanks Inge, Amrita, Judith, and Al. I really appreciate your comments!
