First, thank you all so much for your support and favs of my Sunset in the City shot. I couldn't believe it when I saw it had landed on TT -- and know that happened only because of your responses. It's really a thrill!
Second, tonight's posting...I'm loving this circle theme and seeing all the interesting takes on it so far on the site. This was taken using the iron fence in front of our house. To get this shot, I focused using narrow aperture to get a deeper DoF. Taken on an angle where the fence goes around the corner. I was fascinated by how circles of the same size perceptually look so much smaller. Then, processed while hanging out with @jyokota to demonstrate the range of what Topaz Adjust can do. A b&w version is in my extras album: http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-10-04
I'm so amazed at how one well-taken shot can have so many different looks, such a HUGE range, from your b & w one you posted to this one and the many in between you demonstrated for me. I particularly love this one for its strong, vivid colors.
Love the purple tones - I must investigate Topaz adjust (I haven't heard of it before). Lovely pov showing the "small circles" through the large ones even though they are the same size!! Congrats on TT - getting to be a habit Taffy!! Star quality!!
