I worked late and headed home feeling sad I'd missed the blue hour and missed the golden hour. But the sky was pretty interesting so I went up to the roof to hang out a bit. This was my reward. It is my favorite Chicago sunset shot of my album. Did process in HDR combining three shots to capture all the swirls of color as best I could. And did it without a tripod using continuous shots which I would never have known about without 365!

Oh how wonderful this sky is colored. I always told my children - when they were little - that the coloring of the sky was done especially for them by their (deceased, and living i heaven) grandfather...
