What a great way to spend an hour or so, at Lincoln Park, including the zoo. The first good sign - I scored a free parking space on the street right at the zoo. Then, these huge storm clouds came in but it didn't rain. And, several of the animals were out and making eye contact. This is photo 1, taken from the Patio Place, near the Frank Lloyd Wright structure. The dominant black building is the Hancock, the towers on the right are residences. We're looking south toward Chicago's skyline, with the lake off to the left.

@friend2303 Aw...thank you VIjay!! I'm trying to decide which other shot to put up and you've just made my evening for letting me know I chose the right one for the main album!
@mzzhope That means so much to me! It makes me feel so much more competent than I actually am (I use very simply processing software!). @libertylady Yes, it's Chicago, "my home town" as the Sinatra song goes...
Wonderful shot - great sky - fab reflections - another beautiful viewpoint of your "home town" . Sounds like a great day!! Fav!!
Now I keep singing the Sinatra song!! LOL!!
Lucky you! I like how photographers appreciate things that other may find not so nice - like heavy clouds =)) ..resulting in one absolutely stunning shot! =) fav =)
