While I'll miss our Chicago views from our condo, walking out on our patio to watch the full moon rise among the clouds over Tucson was quite soothing after all the unpacking. At least I'm now finding time to download and process a photo or two -- thank you for all the lovely comments on the cicadas! I took so many of those that after processing several, I'm actually not finding them so gross anymore.
Such mystery in the night sky as the full moon appears through the clouds - love the blue/black tones throughout the image ! - mystical, bewitching ! fav
Wonderful photo! It reminds me a bit of Ansel Adams' photo "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico." Glad you are moved and settling in. What a change from Chicago!
Lovely scene and perfect on black. I just love the words 'Tucson, Arizona'. Don't ask me why. I think it's linked to my dad's US tour in 1967, studying mountain rescue techniques. He was away for 6 months, and it was a really big deal in those days! He spent a lot of time in Arizona.
@lesip LOL--Yes, the move was not even on our horizon as an idea 2 months ago! So, I hope you do get back to the area and we could get together for a photowalk -- but not between May and October! It was awfully hot moving in late May!

I miss the sunrises and sunsets from Northern Phoenix where we lived for 16 years.
Hope you are fully unpacked soon. It takes a while to get organized doesn't it. We have moved 16 times.
