Tin Can Dreams of Bigger Things by taffy

Tin Can Dreams of Bigger Things

I am a tin can.
A tin for anchovies.
Am I destined for something more?
Or am I proud of a job well done?
I contributed to a cesar salad tonight.
Without me, they couldn't have done it.
Cesar salads are important, aren't they?
what a great shot, love the low key, and yes anchovies are very important - well at least in my Caesar salad they are :)

Creative idea and narrative. I like the blurred out edges of the can.

Very creative -- it's as if the opening of the can is representative of a mouth speaking!

Excellent shot!

This is cool Taffy! The ring pull also looks like a face with eyes and a toothless mouth! Good dof, lighting and processing.,

@janine3 Thanks Janine -- yep, it was good! Sea bass, roasted veggies, mushroom risotto, cesar salad, and ice cream sundaes for dessert. Needless to say, I'm still not hungry this morning!!
November 17th, 2013
Lol.I love your imagination and your use of an anchovies tin.You have managed to give it an expression ! It looks so full of pride!.Keep dreaming little tin!
November 17th, 2013
@taffy - I knew it! I'm envious! I had leftovers - eaten standing up. But the good news is, I was on my way to hear Alash, a throat singing group from Tuva. They were astounding!
November 17th, 2013
Awesome... great low key abstract and I love the write up too =)
November 17th, 2013
@janine3 Interesting! What's 'throat singing'? Eek -- lights just popped a bit and a bit thunder strike. We're sort of in a tornado path. I'm trying to stay calm but it's getting scary. We're on the edge so it could go either way/

Beautify low key shot! Never expected a sardine can could look so elegant.
November 17th, 2013
@taffy google Alash throat singing and you can view a video of them doing it. Yes - I saw on the weather that you are getting the brunt of this storm. We are on the outer edge, but just heard some thunder too.

@kimshots Thanks Kim, for viewing and commenting. I love that you saw the elegance of this little tin. My original title was "Elegance in a Tin Can" -- til I thought of the commentary and changed it. So thank you!
