While we were waiting for the tornado to pass by (and, luckily, miss us entirely), Danbo spent the time practicing his breathing technique -- he knows he won't be able to be competitive until he gets better at it. Then a little later, he went riding in a bubble - http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-11-17
Ha, cuteness! Totally see those bubbles in that wrap. Glad the worst of the storms are done. Not a fun day for my SO to be driving back from Indianapolis!
Glad you weren't affected, Taffy! My son and daughter-in-law were in Chicago this weekend for a science and technology tradeshow - they did make it home to Kansas City - luckily reservations were out of Midway and not O'hare. Love the capture!

Thanks for visiting, viewing, commenting, and making my evening! Here's what I did:
1. Moved Danbo's joints to mirror the crawl swim stroke
2. "Submerged" him in bubble wrap with really large bubbles so he could 'swim'
3. Shot several photos to try to capture the movement
4. Downloaded and processed using a blue filter
5. Removed the blue from the filter that was on Danbo's face and arm
If I'd had time, I would have imported to snapseed so that I could have used the blur edit to make the "water" look smoother.
@taffy oh, so this is what you were referring to when you said you learned to "remove" but not "erase" in particular spots. Oh, the things we learn in this project, and Danbo has proven himself very helpful in having you learn new things to create his stories in images!
haha....yep! Danbo is growing on me. Didn't quite "get" him at first, but he is becoming very endearing. Glad he is learning to swim. Glad the tornado missed you also!! When I first started 365 someone posted about a tornado. I said I was really glad we didn't have them in the PNW. We were on our way home from our winter trip. No five minutes later I turned on the news and there was a small tornado that did some damage near Salem Oregon just that day!! It was kind of creepy
He's brilliant - Hello Get Pushed partner! I issued this challenge last week and I like it so much you're going to get it too! what gets in the way of your get-Pushed Project?! Can be one thing or lots...just have fun! :0)
@michaelelliott Thanks Michael -- it's nice to see you are still on the site even though you aren't posting (I miss your photos!). I appreciate your comments, as always.
Danbo is doing great - very cleverly done, Taffy.
