Stairway Down the Rabbit Hole by taffy

Stairway Down the Rabbit Hole

For the pattern and texture theme this week. Stairway in our college, leading to the basement. Normally they are fairly gritty and quite unattractive. I thought it would be a good challenge to try to make them look as interesting as I could. SnapArt helped a lot.
Love the stylized filter on this... it came out real nice! Fav

Great lines and the processing gives the shot a look of a 1920s-30s storybook. I like the interpretation too - goes with the look.

Cool, this is quite neat.
I have a Tamron Lens 300-500mm and yes I usually hand hold it. Or rest it on my car window when I'm out.

Cool style.

Nice lines and processing!

@sailingmusic I've been trying to find a tamron 300-500 online and have had no luck. I've seen a sigma or a tamron 200-500. I was trying to check out size and weight as I love your photos. Just wondering if it is an older lens, or if it has some other info that might help me find it. If not, no worries -- I'll keep hunting!

You're right -- that stairway is really not photograph-worthy, but your processing makes it better than the original image!

@jyokota You know better than anyone what a creepy spot it really is! The joys of this new processing tool -- if it can make this look good, it can do wonders!
