This is Bella's "sister," Sadie -- also visiting with her people this week. She wanted to have a chance to be a star like Bella, but she's a Bernese Mountain Dog, the same breed as our beloved Nutmeg who we lost after a long illness last summer while on the island. Bernie's are the antithesis of Golden's. This is classic. While Bella seeks ball-throwing, running, frisbees, etc., Sadie seeks cool spots to sleep between bouts of extreme energy use like going for a walk.

Have hit the wall tonight re working on a never-ending proposal, still coughing annoyingly often, and trying to be a better host! Tomorrow I'm committed to an all day photo shoot volunteering for the Beaver Island Garden Tour. Long way of apologizing and providing excuses for my lack of commenting. Today, my only photos were of Sadie and what we served for dinner! Great SOOC...lovely comp and exposure. What would you say, Taffy: does conversion from RAW to jpeg comprise "editing", or do you need to shoot in jpeg to really make it SOOC?
