Another post from our photo walk with @silver_fox in Adelaide. This sculpture is next to the Festival Centre and at night the lights change every few seconds. It's a stunning work of art and fun to try to photograph as it changes. It looked like it was trying to decide what to wear and could not make up its mind. Photos taken yesterday but collage created today. Another shot I really liked from the photo walk was: http://365project.org/taffy/365/2014-10-22
I love this! I am assuming that must be a lit-up building in the background. They do amazing things with LEDs now, and you could sit there mesmerized as they change colors in the night. There was a similar sculpture when I was photographing the Bay Bridge in SF, and it would take on a different personality every few minutes. Love that you captured all of them!
At first I thought they were dew-covered spores of some kind and you'd worked your magic with the colors. (Perhaps I'm up too early today, seeing things oddly?) Someone had a beautiful idea when designing and creating this art, and of course you photographed it wonderfully.
I love this collage though it does not really look like one as it all blends together. I like that you left the black background. The colors are amazing and so is the detail.
Fantastic collage and beautiful colours. I need to make sure I do a city tour at night on my next visit. My son lives in the Adelaide Hills so although we are there for 2-3 months of the year we rarely go into the city at night..
@jyokota Yep -- a 3X3 collage. I just waited for it to change colors, and stood in the same place to take each shot so that the lights were showing against the white building.
