The Pods

Filling in some missing slots in August before it becomes September. Taken on Beaver Island, near the abandoned cars. I though the pod textures were really unusual but it may be my own ignorance about flowers. This might be milkweed but I'm not sure.

It is indeed Milkweed. Those pods will turn brown and the loveliest, softest silky seeds will spill out.
