NYC has the Fulton Center which I'd posted yesterday, with its elegant lines and patterns. Today as I came up from the subway at the Thompson Center, it just cried out to have it's photo taken too. A bit more 'in your face' about it as well.
Thanks for your continued lovely visits and comments on my NYC images. It was interesting to read your comments for those who had visited or knew of visitors to the 9/11 museum.

This looks like a much, much taller space than Fulton Center with highly polished floors!! Like the fact that you can see another highrise beyond through the glass.....great use of the fisheye!
Love love love this! Lens lust once again! I do love the effect you get with that fisheye lens! Another glorious capture. As soon as I start to scroll down I know it's one of yours! There are only a few people on here where you can recognize their style and I wish I was one of them! Fav!
Fantastic capture! I know it has been rumored for a while, but did you hear that this week Rauner is pushing for the sale of the Thompson Center to happen within the year, and that it will most likely be demolished and the site rebuilt.
@ukandie1 I hadn't heard that! It's quite an awful looking building (except for the fun of photographing it), but what a waste of resources to re-build it.
@taffy Apparently the building is in need of great repair and is a money pit, freezing cold in the winter and too hot in the summer, and millions of dollars in maintenance updates in arrears. Which I can understand considering the design of it. Rauner is looking at selling the site and relocating the state offices elsewhere. But at the end of the day it is all politics...this is Chicago :)
Just had to comment again on this fabulous image! I love my comment about lens lust - yes of course I bought the fisheye lens for my Chicago visit! Lol!
How true too my comment about your work being immediately recognisable! What sad news about the building! @ukandie1
@ukandie1 thanks for the info Andie. Taffy put up a new photo of this fabulous building last week I think it was and she linked it to her earlier 2015 image. I have so many great images of the building and really love it but I can understand it must be a difficult place to work.
