From the Chicago Cultural Center photowalk with Meg and Junko. So many fun shots from our walk that it's hard to choose what to post! I was able to get this shot as Junko had been walking for me so I could set it up. I would have used those except these two had great color pants on and the pair walked naturally by. Thanks Junko for helping me set it up!!
@maggiemae First I had Junko walking and posing for me, and then as we were leaving, this couple started walking on the lights (a lot of folks walk around them) and the color of the pants was perfect for reflecting, so I waited and hoped they'd walk into my shot. I got lucky on this!
It's a GREAT shot, even though I liked being in the one you took of me (selfishly speaking) but this one is much better because it's spontaneous, and the color of pants works visually well for this shot. The movement is nice!
This is great! I like the pair of legs casually strolling by on the lighted square composed of many smaller squares, and also the reflection of the legs on the (wet?) pavement! FAV!
I love the movement you have caught here. Wonderful lighting and reflections! Well done setting it up with Junko and what luck that these legs came by at the right time. Fav!
@pamknowler These are all spots that we'll go to when you're here. I think you'll have a great time and end up with so many images it will keep you busy for years!!
@taffy every time I look at your fabulous photos I think "must get more memory cards and more space on my computer (read New computer) for all those photos I will be taking" just hope some of your knowledge rubs off on me! Lol!
@francoise Haha!! You're right...the exact opposite of spontaneous in a way, but still, it was as I'd have missed the shot if I didn't know which settings to use as they went by sooo quickly.
Fabulous capture, I love it. Sometimes when you try to stage a photo it doesn't work, so you were definitely in the right place at the right time to capture a natural photo. Well spotted. fav.
@onewing You're right on target with your comment. The ones of Junko's feet were just fine -- but this one, where they were naturally walking and not posing for me at all really captured movement in a different way and made the shot look not-so-technical and more of a moment-in-time.
