All equipment is packed for early morning departure for Tennessee Smokey Mountain meetup! Winds in Chicago caused a lot of flight cancellations so am hoping by tomorrow we'll be okay. This image was processed today from very strange reflections and some kind of installation in a courtyard at the Chicago Cultural Center, photographed from inside on the 2nd floor. No idea what it is but it generally seems to fit the Halloween season.
Thanks for your visits and comments on the Rookery stairs...much appreciated! Still more to post from there but I'll take a break for a bit and hopefully have some landscapes and mountain shots soon.

I was drawn to this image when we saw it, but I couldn't figure out how to make it look interesting but you did. And what, canceled flights??? Nearly packed.
Optically an interesting shot. I would not have guessed this was a partly reflected shot if you had not said so. Needs to be seen large to appreciate the translucent nature of the ladder as it goes past the light circle.

Really like this image, disappearing stairs. How would you like to walk up these in the dark. Terrific picture.
