More images from Thursday morning's photo shoot at Scafuri's Bakery in Chicago's Little Italy. See posting -- http://365project.org/taffy/365/2015-11-04 -- for background if curious.
Have just arrived Beaver Island after a travel day...time to close down so lots of work re grounds, moving things outdoor things into garage for the winter, etc. Must get out there as snow is predicted this afternoon.
Thank you for putting my "Yum" cookie shot on PP!!
Good storytelling capture. I like the light, there's lots of interesting shapes and I desperately want to get my hands not on the pastries (well, OK, those as well) but the lid that's covering them - I see macro photo opps! :-D
@tonydebont This was one of the few shots I took that were candids. We had taken a break since Kelly had to make a delivery...I just happened to be standing in the right spot with my camera when she came out with all the boxes stacked up. Thanks for the visit and comment!
Great image capturing some of the action in what I expect is a very busy place. Good story telling. Taking photos in the bakery would be my complete downfall! I can just imagine the gorgeous smells! I wish I had taken a photo of the homemade scones we had yesterday at our meet up. We all said no to the offer of two scones - well that would be gready wouldn't it? When the tray with four tiny scones was served we all said we wished we had said yes to two! So funny! Of course we did have the second scone! Lol!
