Taken at Lincoln Park during Andie's ( @ukandie1 ) and my photowalk yesterday. The pond was mirrored glass and the clouds hung pretty heavily, so I was pleased at having any reflections at all. This area is filled with wildlife in warmer seasons. Not so much at the moment. Thank you for the wonderful response to the light trails shot from yesterday!

Looks cold!! I really like how the little chunks of ice are scattered about on the frozen water, with their matching reflections. The color tones are beautiful.
There is so much depth to this picture. I kept looking at the fascinating lagoon part with the chunks and the smooth ice and the reflections; yet there are people and an entire city in the picture!
You really make me want to visit Chicago with your wonderful cityscapes although it looks rather cold there at the moment. We've had heavy rain for the last 3 days and more on the way.
California dreamin' ! This is very much the sort of scene that comes to mind when I think of or listen to that classic. I like the touch of magenta, it really brings out the wintery feel of the image.
