Thank you for putting my fiery sky shot onto PP today -- quite nice to see it there. This shot was from our meetup last week, taken at Wilmette Beach, north of Chicago. The clouds were quite amazing that day.

I don't know the correct terminology but the cloud cover accentuates the vanishing point - or the perspective to the horizon which for me is why this photo works so well. Another great one from your meet up.

You captured the clouds superbly in this shot, love how they come right down to the horizon, and agree with Sally the man give nice perspective to this.
This is just gorgeous! Not only were the clouds beautiful and lending so much interest to the sky, the water was shaded like the Caribbean! It was a spectacular, welcoming sight! (Just ask Sarah!)
