Image created from two taken last night at friends. Robin was on the log on the beach behind some bushes. Yellow flowers were in the garden on the other side of the house. Neither image was that interesting on its own, but the robin fit perfectly into the gap in the flowers. Used Textures to create this, then Picmonkey to add text on the right side (not in this version, obviously) to turn it into a thank-you note for the lovely evening.
Really like the flower on the left standing out proud from the rest. What a great idea (I suspect it took a while to work all that processing out). The texture is really lovely and you are right, the bird fills the gap perfectly. My guess is that your hosts would be delighted with this Thank you note.
What a lovely Thank You note! Your friend will have it as a treasured memory of a lovely evening. Do you merge the two photos in Textures or in PS? Not done this yet. I couldn't do it on my old PC for some reason - not having tried it on the Mac yet. Well worth the effort I am sure was involved! Fav!
@pamknowler I created a texture out of the yellow flowers, then edited the bird in textures and used double exposure to bring in the flowers and position the bird. Then added something from light leaks and a bit of vignette and cleaned it up and saved it to process in picmonkey for adding text.
@loweygrace How wonderful that you were able to spend time here. I heard the weather last week was really awful, though - so hot and humid. We just got back to the city tonight for a few days. I'll look forward to your photographs.
