Chicago Open House was this past weekend which opens about 200 buildings of all types for viewing and "viewing from." It's all free - and if a member of the Chicago Architectural Foundation, you're given a pass that lets you go in without waiting in line (so you get to a lot more buildings). This photo was taken from a private club for building employees, on about the 22nd floor of the Prudential Building. The club gives building employees access to a beautiful outdoor deck, with fireplace, grassy area for games, etc. Will be posting photos from Saturday's opportunities as I catch up from a very busy week.
Thank you for putting my Chicago night sky shot in TT. Very exciting and quite honored to see it at #1!
@taffy thanks for the link. I saw some images taken here a few months ago - I think there was a group 365 meet up and several were posting on this fascinating sculpture.
@helenhall That may have been the meetup we had here in May. A group from England came over, along with 2 from St Louis, and 2 from Nova Scoita, and the three Chicago area hosts. It was great fun.
